Research in Organic Agriculture

Organic research in Sri Lanka can contribute to a more sustainable and resilient agricultural system that addresses environmental concerns, supports rural livelihoods, provides healthier and safe food options for consumers and solves the arise problem in organic exports.

The NOCU has recognized the significance of doing research on organic agriculture, coordinating with academic institutions and research institutes, requesting necessary research topics, and ensuring that the findings are pertinent and useful for Sri Lanka’s particular challenges and prospects.
